Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer.
Automatic Data Collection
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this data in aggregate to keep the site working and to understand which pages help visitors. We may use cookies or similar technologies for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
That limited data helps operate the site, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Data Recipients
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Data Safeguards
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Md. Code, Commercial Law ยงยง 14-4601 through 14-4614, provides qualifying Maryland consumers with rights that may include access, correction, deletion, and a copy of covered personal data. Because we retain little, most requests involve checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records held by Baltimore City or Maryland offices remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the site after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
